Parents help make our school community tick

Thank you to our class parents…

At WWS, Class Parents play an indispensable role in nurturing our school community, fostering a spirit of collaboration, and enriching the educational experience for both students and parents. These dedicated individuals form our Parent Action Council (PAC) and provide invaluable support to our school community in several significant ways:

  1. Community Building: WWS places a profound emphasis on creating a tightly-knit community within our school. Class Parents take a lead role in organizing and actively participating in a wide range of community-building activities. From organizing festivals and fundraisers to hosting social events, they contribute to the vibrant tapestry of our school life.
  2. Bridge Between School and Home: Class Parents serve as a vital bridge between the school and our students’ families. They ensure that parents are well-informed about important school events, volunteer opportunities, and other relevant updates.
  3. Support for Teachers: Our Class Parents provide invaluable assistance to our dedicated teachers. They lend their expertise in coordinating logistical aspects of educational experiences, such as field trips, and express gratitude through organizing gifts, acknowledging the exceptional efforts of our teaching staff.
  4. Support for New Families: Class Parents extend a warm and guiding hand to new families, helping them navigate the school’s culture, policies, and routines.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our 2023-24 Class Parents for their unwavering dedication and active involvement. Through their commitment, they serve as role models, embodying the principles of collaboration, cooperation, and community engagement that lie at the heart of our school’s mission.
