An Evening of ‘Fun-Raising’ for WWS…
Join us for an evening of reconnecting as a community, enjoying good food and libations, and bidding on fabulous live and silent auction packages as we gather to celebrate the future for our children and school.
Gala Evenings include:
- Great grub, drinks & dancing
- Success stories & highlights with an MC
- Online silent and live auction items including raffle prizes!
When: Saturday June 3, 7pm-Late
Where: Après Après (4202 Village Square)
How much: Tickets are $100 (includes admission, appetizers & 2 drink tickets per person).
Attire: Wear Your Finest Western Attire.
Wild West Gala 2023 Online Auction
The Gala serves as one of the primary fundraising initiatives for our school. This wonderful tradition unites our community in the spirit of giving to enhance the experience of every student at Whistler Waldorf School.
Lots of work is happening behind the scenes to help make this year’s event a success. We offer our most sincere gratitude to all the individuals and businesses who have stepped forward with donations!
From health and beauty gift certificates, to adventures, dining and even art, there is something for everyone with more items to be added before the auction closes on Friday June 2 at 8pm. Please also look for a final gala communication next week with live auction and teacher wish list details as well as a sneak peek of some of the silent auction offerings that will be available at the event.
This Gala – Make Your Legacy Donation count
Every year, the Gala live auction raises much needed donations that go towards teacher and student classroom requests such as:
- Computer & technology upgrades
- Outdoor classrooms equipment and upgrades
- Campus Sports equipment
- Strategic initiatives including a project lead and capital to open our EY Spring Creek program
- Much, much more…

The Live and Online Silent Auction fundraisers finish at the Gala evening in a fun, fast-paced, exciting event where participants bid (auction style) towards some fantastic donations and in turn, raise donations for much needed school upgrades and teacher wish-lists which directly benefit WWS students.
This year, we are still in need of much-needed gifts for the live and silent auctions. In previous years, WWS community members and business owners have donated:
- Hotel stays & Vacation nights at a rental property
- Recreational activity tours
- Unused Tickets to events or activities
- Swag and products such as healthcare, clothing, accessories and more.
Also, if you can’t attend the fun-filled evening but would still like to contribute to the Gala giving for this year, we will have an option for cash-in-lieu donations closer to the event. Keep a look out on our social channels and through the WWS Blog.
