WWS athlete finding success in biathlon
What started as a week long summer camp at WOP four years ago has turned into Alexander Hatloe’s world. Joining the Sea to Sky Nordic Team with pure determination and self motivation he has developed his skills in shooting, skiing, roller skiing and overall physical fitness. Alexander now participates on three teams including Whistler Nordic Development Club, and the Biathlon British Columbia team.
Supporting local sport
Alexander and a few of his teammates will participate in a once of a lifetime opportunity at the Canadian Winter Games in Prince Edward Island (Feb 18-Mar.5). Funding athletes at this level takes the support of our local community and Sea to Sky Biathlon is currently promoting a local silent auction to help offset the costs of the team that will travel to Quebec next month for the Biathlon Canada Nationals.
