Pedagogical dramas in Waldorf Schools
Plays in a Waldorf school are called “pedagogical dramas” for a very good reason. They deepen learning, develop skill and capacity in students, and strengthen the sense of interdependence in the class. Grade 6 students are preparing for their performance of “Boudica”. Boudica was queen of the Iceni tribe in England and led a rebellion against Roman occupation around 60 A.D.
