Festival of Compassion – Food Bank Drive
Help us to support our local foodbank this season! The school is collecting donations for our local foodbank. Your donations of non-perishable food items can be brought to the Fieldhouse until Nov 7 where containers will be provided to receive them. Families can also bring their food bank items to the event and they will be added to the collection.
📆Date: November 6, 2025
⌚Times: 5:00pm – Wildflowers, Little Cedars & Briar Rose;
6:00pm – Grades 1 & 2 (with younger siblings)
📍Where: Spruce Grove Park
Our celebration will have two sessions, oneat 5:00 for the Wildlfowers, Little Cedars and Briar Rose and another at 6:00 for Grade 1 & 2. Those who have children spanning across Pre-K and Lower Gradesare requested to book for the 6:00 session if possible. Children will light their lanterns and listen to a short story before proceeding on the walk with their parents. At the close of the festival, we encourage familiar to maintain the calm spirit of the festival as you head home for the evening. This year we will also be holding a food bank drive leading up to and on the day of the event. Non-perishable food items are gratefully accepted and will be brought over to the food bank the following day.
