WWS students proud to share their creations…

WWS’s High School students’ art has been on exhibit at Maury Young Arts Centre over the past week. Each student chose a piece that they wanted to have on display so the Whistler community could see their visual arts learning and artistic productions over the past year.

The Pique Newsmagazine recently published an article about the High School students’ exhibition. In it, Grade 10 student, Khalan Whitt comments:  “Each piece is a different representation of how I portray my own emotions in my artwork—or how doing art makes me feel personally. I think it will be nice to have people come and see my work. I put a lot more effort into each piece.”
