Our annual May Faire is open to the local community and celebrates everything about Spring, tradition, music and Waldorf culture!
May Faire is an ancient festival honoring the change of seasons from darkness to light. The tree of life was part of this festival and is now represented by the Maypole. The afternoon is open to the community with Maypole dancing, songs, food and children’s activities.
Admission is free. Look for more details on Facebook closer to the event.
Our annual Winter Faire is generally on the first weekend of December and showcases a magical mid-morning and early afternoon craft and winter fair.
Get in the spirit of this magical season with activities for the whole family, including candle dipping, natural crafts, puppet shows, and a visit to the cookie house. Snack on tasty seasonal treats and sip on warm drinks as you browse our local artisan market to find unique treasures and the perfect gift for anyone on your list.
Admission is free. Food and activities are priced separately.
This wonderful day is to celebrate our Grade 12 graduates and all that they have accomplished!
The whole school takes part for saying goodbye and wishing our grads the best in their future endeavors. A traditional graduation ceremony is followed by a unique non-traditional Waldorf twist of ‘jumping over the hay bales’. Snacks and refreshments follow to allow for everyone a chance to say their personal well-wishes and goodbyes.
The Grade 4 class will present an entertaining play for the WWS Community showcasing many ideas and skills they have been learning over the school year.
Parent Meetings allow parents to hear updates from class, curriculum information and meet with other parents in the grade.
The Grade 6 class will put on a play performance for parents and the school. Please refer to your email for exact time and location.
Grade 5 students will put on their play performance for this school year with entertainment, laughs and fun to be had all around. The exact time and location will be communicated through the teacher biweekly newsletter.
The Grade 1’s will perform a play performance to showcase their work in drama and the arts. Exact performance time and location will be communicated in the teacher biweekly newsletter.
