Rose Ceremony – Grade 1
The Grade 12 students warmly welcome the incoming Grade 1 students into the grade school with a rose which marks the beginning of their journey.
It’s a beautiful morning ceremony that the whole Waldorf school participates in making the Grade 1 students feel welcomed and special while building confidence heading into their Grade 1 year.
Festival of Courage (Michaelmas)
This shared fall celebration day is a gathering of Whistler Waldorf’s school community in early October. Previous years have showcased a shared fall harvest soup or meal; a celebration of fall traditions together with music and re-enactments, and/or a school community initiative such as in 2019, the celebratory opening of the school’s Bee ‘hotels’, which was a school Community stewardship project.
Parents, staff and students are invited to connect on-campus for this memorable Fall event.
