We celebrate our Gr. 8 students as they present on various topics of deep personal interest for an inspiring and engaging discussion for parents, friends, Waldorf school members and the Sea to Sky community.

As their first major project in High School, the students demonstrate their approach to the world with the mental and emotional fortitude, critical reasoning, creativity, knowledge and compassion that Waldorf education works to instill.

Gear up in your all-white ensemble and enjoy drinks, dinner, and dancing at this fun Whistler Waldorf parent social evening.

Ticket price includes a delicious Thai buffet style dinner and dancing. $5 drinks at cash bar.

TBD ONLINE: Mom’s Night! – Parent social

Mom’s Night is an evening of fun that includes facilitated discussion with WWS faculty, wine and eats*. It’s three hours for you to relax, connect with other WWS moms, and learn more about Waldorf education. Applicable to parents of children across the grades.

Host and Locations are shared through the school’s E-newsletter starting a few weeks before.

*Bring your own beverage; light snacks provided.

In the Grade 12 year, the school celebrates the graduating students as they present on various topics of deep personal interest for an inspiring and engaging discussion for parents, friends, Waldorf school members and the Sea to Sky community.

As the major milestone in the culmination of the Waldorf educational journey, the Grade 12 Projects demonstrate the students’ approach to the world, equipped with the mental and emotional fortitude, critical reasoning, creativity, knowledge and compassion that Waldorf education works to instill.

ON HOLD – High School Music Concert

A music concert put on by the High School students at Whistler Waldorf. Everyone welcome – this is an informal school event to enjoy music and entertainment for all!

Pro-D Day(s) – Early Years Centre Closed @ Spring Creek

The Early Years Centre will be closed on Family Day – Monday Feb. 17 (B.C. Holiday stat) as well as 2 additional days:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 18 – Closed
  • Wednesday, Feb. 19 – Closed

The Early Years teachers will be participating in the professional development opportunities with other teachers and support staff at Whistler Waldorf School (since the school is off on February Break Week).

ONLINE: Gr. 7 parents orientation for Gr. 8 High School

The Grade 7 parents are invited to a High School Orientation meeting to find out more information about the schedule of Whistler Waldorf’s High School, curriculum opportunities and much more.

This event is in conjunction with our last High School meeting for the school year.

ON HOLD – High School Potluck Lunch(es)

High School potluck lunches occur throughout the year for Grades 8 -12  to allow for even more student relationship building in the high school!

Grade 12 Service Trip Presentation

Grade 12’s participate in a service trip every year and will present their observations and learning at a public event for the community. More specific details will be released closer to the event evening.
