Monthly challenges towards Eco-school Gold
Environmental stewardship has always been a core value at WWS. Whether through outdoor education trips, extended classroom time spent in nature, the use of natural materials, or our commitment to zero-waste practices like composting, we strive to foster a deep respect for the environment in our students. To further our commitment, WWS is pursuing EcoSchools certification, a prestigious certification recognizing environmental excellence in schools across Canada.
Here is what this initiative includes:
• Students across all grades will engage in various projects and initiatives to earn points towards our goal of achieving gold-level EcoSchools certification.
• We’ll provide monthly updates on our progress – stay tuned to socials and E-news.
• We invite you to cheer us on as we work towards becoming the first certified EcoSchool in our region.
