A chance to meet our school community

Wes Feagan – WWS P.E. Teacher

Recreation lover, french teacher, mountain enthusiast, soccer coach and physical literacy guru!

Mr. Feagan has been updating and sharing his amazing workout videos every week for which many WWS students and families much appreciate some creative and fun physical fitness activities during this time of physical distancing.

Mr. Wes Feagan

A little more about Mr. Feagan…
Wes joined Whistler Waldorf School in 2013, working in student support as a classroom assistant. He brings over 15 years of experience and training working in special needs education and in children’s recreation.  He completed a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Victoria, and post grad studies in Australia in group facilitation, HR and education. Although Wes was born and grew up in Toronto, he is drawn to the mountains of BC and loves his life in Whistler.

What does Wes do when not teaching P.E. at WWS?
Along with his wife and two children, Wes takes full advantage of the beautiful outdoor environment in Whistler through running, mountain biking, skiing, as well as playing and coaching soccer.

Alphabet Zoom Call Wed. May 27

Lisa from Whistler Community Services Society and Bridget from Whistler Youth Centre will host a live ZOOM session on Wednesday May 27th from 5 – 6 p.m.

“It has been a long while since we all connected so we wanted to reach out and see how everyone is doing. We sure do hope that you will be able to join us. The plan is to keep it informal and add in some screen sharing activities if folks want or just to have a casual chat.”

The link to join the Zoom call will be available day of on WCSS’s website at www.mywcss.org.

Whistler Food Bank New Location:

The Whistler Community Services Society (WCSS) Food Bank has moved to the Whistler Conference Centre and is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm. There is no appointment necessary. We will give out food while supplies last every day.

Virtual events @ the Whistler Public Library.

The Whistler Public library has moved their community events online! Using Zoom and Facebook Live the WPL will bring you virtual versions of some of your favourite programs, from Book Club to Story Time to Meditation and more.
